Hi -  welcome to our blog. As with many other sailing blogs it is  mainly intended to provide information on our whereabouts to family and friends, anyone else who is interested is more than welcome and we would be happy to get any comments and try to answer your questions. Our boat is Katlen a 1994 Moody 35 which we have owned for 8 years. We have kept her on the Solent initially at Southsea marina and then, to get full tide access, Royal Clarence marina in Gosport. We are members of the Moody Owners' Association    who have a brilliant website where you can get loads of info on all things Moody.

Our aim is to move and sail the boat in the Med over the next few years. For the sheer experience we are hoping to follow in the groove carved by our sister ship, Tradewinds of Emsworth and make the journey via the French canals.

We are currently carrying out refit and update of the boat prior to setting off, hopefully early in May.
