About Me
- Jim and Alison
- We've been together for nearly 30 years and started sailing in our early 20's. We've owned various boats from today's Moody 35 to a dinghy in our early days (it was all we could afford then!). Jim is retired from the Fire Brigade and Alison from working in Education and Training. We've lived in London, Kent, Surrey, Portsmouth, France and Spain. The canal trip is a beginning of the start of our plan to go off sailing which we have been working towards for 25 years. After travelling down through France on the Canals we are hoping to get to Turkey by 2011 to join the Eastern Med Rally. After that we are hoping to go to America and take the Inter-coastal waterway down to the Caribbean, after that who knows we might go back to being landlubbers!
